Kilpeacon House

Kilpeacon house is a detached 2 storey house built around 1810 in Co. Limerick. It was designed by Sir Richard Morrison for Edward Cripps Villiers, a local land owner, and the cost of building is estimated at £12,000. The exterior walls are faced with roughly dressed limestone. Although the exterior is rather plain, and the house is often, somewhat dismissively, referred to as a villa, the interior features of the house show it to be a rather grand country house, if on a more compact scale than most. Intricate plasterwork and elegant interior design are the highlights of this house. Kilpeacon has changed hands several times over the years, yet these remarkable 19th century features thankfully remain intact.

Kilpeacon House was sold privately in 2013.
