Knockmore Townland

The townland of Knockmore lies south of Drinagh village and presents a wonderful view of Drinagh back over the valley, spread out along the road running from the village in the east all the way west to Drinagh Cooperative and beyond. Knockmore is actually part of Kilmacabea parish even if associated with and in proximity to Drinagh.
The 1901 census shown in the picture above lists some of the family names associated to Knockmore, some of whom still live in the townland today.
