Ballygiblin Mitchelstown (Cork)
This house wasn’t abandoned, but one where ongoing resistance was maintained against eviction. The family and supporters would add whatever obstacles they could, to prevent the family from being evicted. The National Library of Ireland believe this image to be quite rare, as it depicts an eviction in an urban setting.
