Patrick Keohane Memorial
Patrick Keohane Memorial

The Patrick Keohane memorial was unveiled in September 2012.

It was erected to acknowledge the contribution made by Keohane to Captain Scott's ill-fated Terra Nova expedition wherein Keohane was part of the team which attempted to reach the South Pole.

Patrick Keohane is one of a number of Cork men who played pivotal roles in the great age of Antarctic exploration.
