St. Doulagh's Church c.1865

The site of this church was named for St. Doulagh, a hermit, though little is known about his life as no written account remains. Doulagh lived a solitary life, away from the comfort and conversation of others. St Doulagh’s Well can be found outside.

The Rector of the modern church was Rev. W.S. Kennedy and the building was consecrated in 1865. A restoration took place in 1991.
