Emigration to Australia.

The rage for emigration to Australia is unprecedented. All classes appear bitten by the mania. Servants of every description, well as labourers and artisans, are exerting themselves with the utmost possible zeal in order to leave their native land.

— The Mayor of Limerick has already taken the names of eight hundred persons who have signified their anxious desire to go to Australia; and many have intimated their wish to augment the list.
