Mary Ann Slowey Sloey - born in Northern Ireland (Londonderry) between 1824 - 1830. Immigrated to America about 1040 - 1845. Arrived in New York. Family 'story' indicate she arrived with her sister Margit. Little is know until until the birth of her first daughter RoseAnn Taylor (married a Joseph Taylor from Scotland) in 1851 in Cleveland Ohio. The second daughter Margaret was born in 1854. Baptism records confirm father as Joseph Taylor. Fast forward to 1897 when a Margaret (Maggie Slowey arrived in Cleveland and stayed at * Ann Slowey Taylors home. In 1898 three other Slowey's arrived in Cleveland Ohio (Bernard, Elizabeth and Patrick - belived to be siblings of Francis Slowey and Margaret Smyth from Rosela).
Looking for connection to the (4) Slowey's who followed my Great Great grandmother * (some tax records show her name as Mary Ann) Ann Slowey Taylor.
I have found many 'Slowey's' in Roslea and Clones.
I would appreciate any leads.
