Douglas GAA Club was founded in 1887.
Their grounds are at Galways Lane, Douglas, Cork.
Their colours are green, black, and white hoops.
Douglas are both a Hurling and Gaelic Football Club.

Most of my ancestors were from Douglas and many sacraments were received at St Colomba Church. My grandfather John Walsh was baptized (1866 and his parents James Walsh and Ellen O'Neill were married. My grandmother Ellen McNamara was baptized (1872) and her parents Daniel McNamara and Margaret Cogan were married. All at the same church.
