I believe some of my ancestors may have worshipped at ST ATTRACTA’S in Tourlestrane. Are there records of Frain or Roper or Ginty baptisms or funerals there after 1880? My grandfather and his brother were baptized at Holy rosary, Kilmactigue, and their parents were married there. After Martin's baptism in 1879, I don't find any records of them anywhere in Ireland. Might they have left ireland to work in England and never returned?
Are there any Frains living in the area still, or have they all gone away from the area? Maybe someone in the parish can still tell some stories.
Thanks. I'll hope to hear from you.
Stay safe, andn may God bless. I wish you His peace.
