Any distant cousins out there?

And/or can anyone take me back another generation from Alexander McDowell and Margaret McKibbon?

Family oral history says:

From a 94 year old cousin of my Father:  “let me advise you of that which I hold on these families.”

McDowall:

Alexander McDowall, sometimes Farmer/Mason, married Margaret McKibbon (my 2X Greatgrand Parents).  
 
Known children:

Mary McDowall, married Robert Houston, August 27th 1875, in Christ Church, Rathgar, Dublin, Ireland.

Martha McDowall. Single. Died 16th March 1898 at 137 Drygate, Glasgow. Informant on Death Certificcate: Matilda Houston. Niece. Present at Death.

Margaret McDowall. Single. Domestic Servant at Earl's Cliff, Dublin. (March 1891)

Sarah McDowall, married John Hempenstall, Blacksmith, County Wexford. Had family of 8. (March 1891)
