I am trying to trace my great grandad who I know was born in Ireland. We were never sure where exactly as he was bought to Birmingham when his mother died when he was very young but my dna has come back as 21% north Connacht so it must have been that area.
we cannot trace his birth on any ancestry site but we do have the date.
is there anyone in that area I can reach out too? Or an organisation that could help.
