I am a descendent of David and Mary (Donahue) Matthews. Records seem to indicate that they resided in Hardwood township, Aughrim Parish, in County Galway. Richard Matthews was their son (my great, great, great Grandpa) and left reference in a published biography of his homesteading in Nebraska, U.S.A. My children and I are very interested in visiting Ireland in August. Are you able to help me confirm that I have the right parish in County Galway? Yes you have the right parish. Richard was my great great uncle.
Here is a link to the 1901 census which shows Richards brother and his family living in the family home in Aughrim.

A Dave Matthews placard comes in all shape and sizes; they come in black and fair or in dye and they range in cost from around ten dollars to in excess of one hundred dollars. Many gifted artists paint some of these poster, and they symbol and number them.

It's been quite some time, but from this post, I was connected with a very distant cousin who lived in England now. We have since lost touch. My daughter is now living just outside of London to finish her undergraduate degree. I would love to connect the very distant cousins.
