Hi
I'm trying to track my ancestors. We know they come out on the 2nd fleet to Australia, as per information below.
We have not been able find any more information regarding our family history in Ireland.
The information we need concerns Michael and Sarah, the parents of William, who immigrated to Australia with his children.
BAMBERRY William 1852 38 (Galway) Michael/Sarah xx - in Galway. Wife = Ann,35 & 5 chn on bd. C of E. Has cousins in Sydney. xx Ship = Meridian
Any help be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Sandra

Sandra,
The records I identified above might not be your Sarah. Per Roots Ireland in 1847 an Edward Walsh married Dina Bamberry. Her father's name was George. In February 1900 a George Walsh died in Kilmore, Eyercourt, Portumna, Galway. Thomas his son witnessed. Dina Walsh is shown on the 1901 census with her family in Kilmore. Sarah and William might be related to Dina and George.
