I am looking for the baptism records for January, 1837 for French Park, Roscommon. Does anyone know if they are available?
Thanks

Mike:
No. The baptismal records for Frenchpark start in 1865 https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0547
Let me know if you have further questions.

Hi Mike
Catholic parish names and boundaries changed a lot during the 19th century as populations shifted and more RC churches were built. Prior to 1865, Frenchpark church records were covered by surrounding Catholic parishes.
Depending on which side of Frenchpark your ancestor lived on, for 1837 you'll need to look to the records of Elphin & Creeve or Tibohine or Killucan or Ogulla. See https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0556
For example, the townland of Frenchpark itself was covered by the Catholic Parish of Elphin in the 1830s.
Hope this helps!
