Our ancestors Thomas and Bridget Gilbane (born around 1817) emigrated from Kiltoghert parish in Jamestown, Carrick-On-Shannon Leitrim.1847. Their parents were Bernard and Mary Gilbane (born around 1800) and William and Ellen Brien. Would anyone know or have connections to the Bernard Gilbane's?

Nancy:
I think the spelling of the surname was likely Kilbane. The 1834 Tithe listings for Kiltoghert civil parish shows seven Kilbane entries including a Thomas but no Bernard https://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/results.jsp?surname=kilbane&firstname=&county=&parish=kiltoghert&townland=&search=Search
There were no Gilbane records in Kiltoghert parish.
