While doing some research on my group of Irish immigrants to Great Barrington, Massachusetts I ran across this Find A Grave memorial with a photo of Bernard Daley's headstone. Can anyone give me more information about the parish and townland inscribed on the marker? I am attaching a copy of the photo.
I am not directly related to the Daleys but a number of their family married Devanny, Flynn, and Tracy people who married into my family.
Thank you, Judy

the location appears to be a reference to the Catholic Parish known as 'Gallen and Reynagh' or sometimes the 'Union of Banagher and Cloghan' after the locations of the two chapels for the parish in the early 1800s. The parish was located in the west of Co. Offaly/King's County, close to the river Shannon and the border with Co. Galway. Records for the parish are on the National Library website - and cover baptisms back to 1811.
