I'm looking for any information on Bernard (Barney) Kelly. His grave stone in Claremont, New Hampshire indicates that he was born in 1787 in "Kimore, Co. Roscommon. I don't know for sure if this means Kilmore Village, Kilmore Townland or Kilmore Parish. Some records indicate that his parents were Edward and Annah or Hanora. Bernard may also have had a brother named "Peter". Bernard and his family lived for a time in Lebanon, New Hampshire and later moved to Barnard, Vermont.

The RC records for Kilmore/Aughrim RC parish start in 1816. https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0539 I did find an 1827 marriage in Kilmore for a Bernard Kelly and there was also an 1828 marriage to a Maria McDermott. Do you know the name of his wife?

Bernard was married twice that I know of. His first wife's name was Bridget Duffy. He married his second wife, Margaret Bannon, in the U.S.
