Hello,
My 2nd great grandmother was named Bridget Daly. She was born in Ireland in 1825 and came to the US and settled in Paterson, New Jersey by 1851. She married Thomas Hawley, also of Ireland. I do not know where they were married, but they had their first child in New Jersey in 1851.
In researching where Bridget may have came from in Ireland, the only things I have to go on is her name and year of birth. I came across a birth record from St. Michael's, Limerick City; baptism date 11 May 1825, father Patrick Daly and mother Ally Phealan.
I was hoping for any other children that may have been in this family so that perhaps I could make a connection to be sure if this is or isn't my Bridget.
Thank you,
Barbara

Hi Barbara,
I couldn't find a marriage record for Thomas & Bridget on rootsireland.ie/ or any other children of Patrick & Alice
I did find this one though:
Name:Thomas HawleyDate of Birth:
Date of Baptism:04-Apr-1821Address:Honey MountParish/District:DUNKERRINGender:MaleCountyCo. Offaly
Denomination:Roman Catholic
Father:William HawleyMother:Mary TalbotOccupation:

Informant 1:James Talbot Sponsor 2 /
Informant 2:Catherine TalbotHowever, there was no Dunkerrin baptism for Bridget or an 1825 Offaly one though there were 1824 & 1826.
So, maybe Bridget was an only child who went to the US & met & married Thomas?
