Peter Flynn was born c. 1833 t0 Michael Flynn and Mary Dolan. He married Mary (Curley, Mohan, Noonan?). They livedin the Roxbury section of Boston, MA USA where Mary died 1891 1nd Peter 1896. They had one daughter (possibly adopted) Mary, who married John Dolan, also b. Roscommon, in 1873, Roxbury. Peter's brother James was b. Roscommon c. 1836 and died unmarried, Roxbury 1893

Flynn and Dolan were both very common surnames in Roscommon in the 19th century. I searched on Roots Ireland and did not locate a marriage record or a baptismal record for Peter or any children of Michael Flynn and Mary Dolan. Very likely their church no longer has records back to the 1830s.

Hi re Peter Flynn our family has connections withe the Dolan Family of Clooncraff and Creeve Elphin County Roscommon our family name is Flynn from Carrownamaddy/Cloonahee County Roscommon. My greatgranuncle Michael Flynn's (d1888) daughter Bridget was Married to Dolan from Drumlish parish of Clooncraff/Creeve, Elphin. I do not know who Bridgets mother was. Bridget was born in the 1840s Its possible that the Flynns and dolans were already connected.
