Hello,
My gg grandparents were George Pelkington and Margaret Casey. Margaret Casey's parents were Micheal Casey and Ellen Leary. Every record differs in birthdate but she was born somewhere in the late 1860's and her baptismal record states Dromileague but there are some records that state Kanturk. Margaret went to NY i think in about 1884 and eventually married George Pelkington. Many of his records are Pilkington incorrectly. He was born in 1861. Parents are Thomas Pelkington and Elizabeth Green. All records state Ireland but tnothing more specific. I can find a baptism in Yorkshire England where all details match but is that coincidence.
I would love to know if George and Margaret had siblings. Did their parents have siblings? What are gggg parents names etc>
Thank you. Jeanne

I'm not having any luck with Margaret Casey and her baptismal or civil birth record. Can you share a copy of what records you have?
Do you know if George Pilkington was Church of Ireland originally? I found a baptismal record in Kilrush Co. Clare Church of Ireland parish for a George Pilkington with father Thomas and mother Elizabeth.Pilkington. Church of Ireland parish records sometimes showed the married name of the mother rather than the maiden name. He was born December 29 1862 and baptized January 18 1863 according to the record on the subscription site Roots Ireland.

HI Roger,

On ancestry I find

On familysearch I find

The above records do not have printable docs or an image just indexing
As far as George goes there is not family oral history indicating England only Ireland so I think the Church of Ireland record is the stronger lead.
Please let me know if you are able to dig any deeper based on my feed back.
Thank you

See last record on this page https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_retur…; for the civil birth record for Margaret Casey. The family lived in Cromagloun townland in Tullylease civil parish.
I was not able to find the marriage record for Michael Casey and Ellen Leary.
