I just learned that my praternal GGrandmother, Catherine Conway, daughter of Michael and Margaret Conway nee Higney, was born in Carrickmore, civil parish of Termonmaguirk, on Nov 23rd, 1851. How can I request a copy of her birth record? I understand that some records were destroyd in a fire, but was told that her record exists.
Your help is much appreciated,

You won't get a birth certificate for Catherine because they hadn't been introuduced in Ireland in 1851. (They started in 1864). However her baptismal record exists in the local RC parish records. Those records are on-line. Here's a link to the record:
