I am researching Charles Shortt of Shinrone's family (b 1752). This is what I know. He was married to Grace Gilbert. I am fairly certain his parents were John and Frances Shortt of Wingfield. He had several children including Jonathan Shortt married to Ann Antisell (an attorney), William Shortt married to Sarah Webb, Dr John Shortt married to Harriet McCausland (who's family migrated to Port Hope, Ontario, Canada), Rev Francis Shortt of Corkbegg married to Martha Alexander, Grace Ann Shortt, Thomas Spunner Shortt who died in 1813 at the storming of San Sebastian, James Shortt. Am looking for other descendants of this family. I believe Charles and Grace were buried in Dunkerrin Church Graveyard.
