Hi, as far as I know my great grandmother were from Ireland. Collins.
The only history I have is that a church was named after the Collins' as they were sort of royal. :)
My mother's name is Anna Catharina Wilhelmina - there is a few family names in there I suppose.
Hope to find out more as I am visiting Ireland in June 2013 and would like to visit where my anchestors came from.

In order to find out where your great grandmother was from maybe you can give us a bit more information like her date or year of birth ( estimated year will do fine) or anything else you know about her, who did she marry ect ?
I already checked some baptism records but the problem is that most of the time only the first part of the firstnames is registered, in this case Anna. There are 62 results for Anna Collins all over Ireland
Also maybe you can inform us where she went after she left Ireland ?
