Father John Cook born abt 1780.
Children
Mary born 1800-1810
Cathrine 1800-1810
Thomas 1800-1810
Henry 1800-1810
Immigrated to Canada before 1828.
John Cook is my 4th great grandfather
Mary is my 4th great grandmother.
Possible connection to Rose Cook in Valuation records.

You haven’t said what denomination your Cook family were. If they were Church of Ireland (ie Anglican) then Dungiven’s records start in 1795. So you might find baptisms of the children in them. However no other denomination in the area has any records for the years you need. The Church of Ireland records are in PRONI (the public record office) in Belfast. A personal visit is required to view them.
There are very few other records for that period. Research in Ireland in the 1700s is often tricky due to a lack of records.
