Good morning,

My ggrandmother was Elizabeth Corridan/Corridon/Corrydon.  Born in Ireland 1860 probably.  Was married in the US in 1884. Parents listed on the marriage register there as Thomas Corridan and Catherine Flynn. I found her on ireland.ie baptized in Keelmacada, matched with those parent names.  There were several Corridans in Indianapolis before and around the time she was married there.  She married a Lucid, another Kerry boy. I have traced my Lucid roots back several more generations in Ireland, but I can't find what happened to Elizabeth's parents and siblings.  Siblings would be John, Joanna, Phillip, James, Catherine, and Mary.  Oddly, NONE of her children are named for any of her family, all for her husband's, following Irish naming tradition but completely skipping her mother, father, etc.  

There is another Thomas Corridan in Indianapolis same time frame but not the right age to be her father or brother.

I do know about the Corridan legend/gravesite in Kerry.

    You mentioned a John Corridan in your message as one of Elizabeth's siblings. Does your information suggest that this John was married to a Kate McCarthy?

    John Corridan is the name of the oldest family member in my genealogy records. His children included my great grandfather Michael, born around 1850, who emigrated to Massachusetts.

    I do not have much information about Michael's siblings, nor anything about John apart from his name and his wife's name.

    If you have any information that you can share with me, I would be thrilled.
