My 3xg grandfather, Daniel Lynch from Cork, left Ireland for England in approx 1830. I can only guess this, as he was married in London in October 1833 to Catharine Dowd. The census lists his trade as Plasterer. I can get no further with either Daniel or Catherine, other than banns of marriage and, subsequently, census records. Anyone have any ideas how I can find where Daniel came from and who his parents were? (Lynne Horspool Smith)
