Good day.
I am looking for the parents of James Mc Carthy born in 1834. He died in South Africa in 1881. He was married to Katrina(Catharine) Magdalena du Preez. 
All we know is that he was from Ireland. I recently did a DNA test with Ancestry. 
We have his dead notice but we cannot decipher the names of his parents on there. So far it seems that Daniel Mc Carthy, born 1788 might be his father. We found Hannah Cournane as a wive and a Margert Murphy?

Can anybody please help us please?
