My Beatty were protestant and David Beatty belonged to the St Thomasburgh Orange Lodge in Ontario. The oldest son William A ( may stand for Albert) was born 25 May 1815 in Ireland. Another son David was born 30 Nov 1821. He may have been a twin to my ggg grandmother Letitia Beatty who was also listed as being born in 1821 in Ireland. Samuel Beatty was born 1824 in Huntingdon Twp, Hastings County, Ontario and John Smith Beatty born 1830 as well in Hastings County. My ggg grandmother Letitia Beatty married Adam Acker Deen born 1811 in Sidney Twp, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. Children of David and Mary Beatty of Ireland married into the Gawley, Sherman, Eaton and Poole families in Hastings County, Ontario. The family also liked to use the name Nelson as a first name. On one census, a Kincaid was boarding with my Beatty family. I do not know if there was any connection with Beatty and Kincaid in Ireland but I think that the Kincaid was from Donegal.

The Tithe Applotment Books, 1823-37 (nationalarchives.ie)9th line down on the left page, David Beatty and Elizabeth Martin marriage in 1813, this could be your David. Could Mary have been Elizabeth Mary?

It is not an impossibility as one of their children was born in 1815. My Haggerty Family that also lived in Huntingdon Twp, Hastings County came from Kilmeen Parish confirmed with church records that they brought with them and years of research by a Sharon Haggerty and her grandmother. It is such a challenge when the county and parish are unknown.
