Michael Connor and Catherine McGrane were married in Lusk on April 5, 1795.  Witnesses were Mr. Ward & Patt Seaver.  They begot 3 children:  Nicholas (1807-1888) Richard (1810-1898) and Margaret (1815 - died young).  Their Godparents were 1.  Michael Moore and Anne Russell, 2.Christopher Darling and Mary Divine, & 3.  James McGrath and Margaret Quirk.

Richard Married Margaret Reynols (1819-1990) in  Swords on July 11, 1841.  They first moved to New York and then to Illinois.  They begot 4 Children:  Michael Timothy (1842-1884), John (1844-1881), Richard (1847-1906) & James Patrick (1849-1908).  I have found most of their descendants.

Nicholas married Ellen Kiernan/Kernan (B: 1813-  ).  They begot 6 chlildren:  Margaret (1835- ), my g grandmother Ellen Mary (1839-1906), Bridget (1842-  , James (1845-  ), Mary Catherine (1848-  ), & Peter (1852- ).  I know almost of the descendents of Ellen Mary nee Conner and her husband Michael Savage (1833-1897)who were married in Lu sk on May 17, 1858.  However, I have no information on the others except that Mary Catherine may have married a man named Kelly.

If anyone can help me find Ellen Mary's siblings, that would be grand.  I may have found info on Margeret but it is only a hunch and I had no proof

  • Hello Teresa,

I have not been able to find any of her siblings.  There is no record that I know of any of them marrying in Swords.

    Any suggestions?

    All the best,  Paddy
