Firstly, my apologies for long delay in getting back to you but your message wasn't passed to me until yesterday by IRO due to an incorrect email address being used by them to alert me to your query.

I have found the marriage of Daniel and Julia in the Church Register for Aughadown in Schull East Parish However, if your information is correct that Daniel was from Toormore and they were living there in 1845 which is likely as the tradition of the time and subsequently was that a couple got married in the Bride's Parish but usually lived in the home of the Groom. If they lived in Toormore then the Parish to search would be Schull West as Toormore is to the West of Schull.

I will search both locations but would appreciate if you could confirm that Toormore is correct and for Daniel and how you obtained this information as it would be a help to locate the family more quickly.

since I messaged you earlier I have searched both Schull East and Schull West intensively and have only located the Marriage of Daniel & Julia and the Birth of Patrick. There were and are a couple of families of Hodnett and several Donovan families but none that I could positively link to Daniel & Julia.

I will continue to search and if you can let me know the source of your information about Toormore it could help but it at least would give another area to search more thoroughly.

I have the detail of the marriage & Birth if you want them but I suspect you have them already. Please get back to me and let me know if I can help further
