I am looking for Jeremiah Doolan, birth 1815.  He was married to Catherine Leonard, birth 1812.  I found Jeremiah's baptism 11 Feb 1816 • St Catherine's, Dublin city, Dublin, Ireland.

They immigrated to New York State and ended up in Utica, NY.  All of their children were born in NYS.

  • Dear Sandy:

Many thanks for your post to the Ireland Reaching Out message board and welcome to the site!

I was unable to find a marriage record for them.  Is it possible that they may have married in New York State?

If you need further assistance, please let me know.

You might also create an Ancestor profile for either Jeremiah or Catherine for the XO Chronicles.  That feature is located at the top of the page.  The profiles are read by all members and someone may have further information to share with you.

The very best of luck with your research!

    Kind regards,

    Jane.

  • Thank you.  Is there a place to plug in my Ancestry or Gedmatch DNA results?
