I would suggest that you look at Dublin directories for that period. John Grenham's website lists what's available on line.

There may have been a deed signed for the property. You could have a look at Family Search Registry of Deeds website https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/185720?availability=Family%20History%20Library or https://irishdeedsindex.net/
If you are living in Dublin, it might be worth you while paying a visit to the Valuation Office, Irish Life Centre, Lower Abbey Street to have a look at the cancelled valuation books which record changes to ownership, occupancy of a property. Unfortunately, these records are not online.
