Good afternoon, I'm looking for relations of my great grandmorther, Eliza Woods, born in Cappawhite in 1892. Her parents were John Woods (b.1861) and Ellen McGrath (b.1854) both from Cappawhite, I believe. My grandfather Joseph Collins died in 2012 and my mother's family believe he had cousins or some sort of relations still in the area. Eliza had 2 siblings as far as I know, Laurence (b.1896-ish) and John (b.1894-ish).

    I see the family in 1901 in Tipperary.
    In 1911 they are in Castleconnell, County Limerick.
    Is this correct?

    Joseph Collins where doed he fit in with the Woods?

    Laurence Woods I see him in 1939 in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England
    He was single and has the correct date of birth.
    In 1940 he marries in the same place.

    Hi Margot, I can't find them in Castleconnell at all, but it would make sense. My great grandmother married Joseph Collins in 1925 in Pontypridd. They had moved back to Ireland by 1927 when my grandfather was born in castleconnell. I will look up Laurence this evening. Who did you find on the 1911 census in castleconnell?

    Laurence was Lawrence in 1911. 
    I have sent 2 pages of the 1911 census. as you look down the list they were near to a Public House.
