My g/grandmother Jane Leech came to Canada with her father John Leech who was married to Jane Shirley presumably before coming to Canada. I understood that they came from Ridge, Leighlin Bridge, Co. Carlow & would like to know background.
Jane Leech married Robert Griffith whose father also named Robert came to Canada in the early 1800's.
Any information would be appreciated.
