Fay/Fahey/Fay

Hi,

I looked at the birth records on the subscription site irishroots.ie but could not find any birth for Timothy Fahy around 1830. It is possible that he was born in a parish where records were not kept at that time.

I have Fahey ancestors early 1800`s   From Gort in Co. Galway   If you have any of his parent`s names i could look them up on their family names. It is possibe he could be born to one of the family.

The birth records for Gort started in 1848 and the marriage records started in 1853. There are alot of Fahey families around Gort, but if you know a bit more about Christian names or townland of origin you might find something from death records that were recorded nationally from 1864, and work back from there.
