I am looking for information on the family of John Feerick of Ballinrobe, (1850-1934). He was a printer on Abbey Street for many years. He was married to Mary Ann Colleran, (1859-1906). They had several children, who immigrated to America and at least one Daughter, Mary, who remained in Ballinrobe and never married. They lost a son, William in WWI. I am interested in any information on this family. I have reached a dead end on tracking their son James Joseph Feerick (1887-). I believe he was in America for a time but lost track around 1918. I am also tracking two daughters, Sara who may have died in California and Hornora (Nora) who I believe stayed in the area. She could have married a Man named Farrelly but I am not certian it is the right person. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I had a quick look at the subscription site Roots Ireland and there appears to be eleven children. Is this correct?

Yes, that is the the family. I know that the oldest, Mary, never married and spent her life right there on Abbey St. I never knew anything about Nora. The marriage appears to be hers. I think I have them all accounted for except for what happened to James. My Dad just knew that both brothers were lost in the war. However, I have found some us records for a James J Fallon in the US that strongly indicate that he was in the US. The last record I can find on him is a WWI draft card from 1917. I can't find any indication that he served or died in the war but records here aren't very good for that war.
By the way, thank you for all that you are doing for this project. You can not imagine how helpful it is to us trying to do this from so far away.
