I cannot locate Fenelick village which in 1847 was located in Carrickedmond Ardagh Longford as named of the residence in the baptismal records that year. Does anyone have any info about this place? Patricia

It's likely that "Fenelick" is the following: Tennalick (Tigh na Leice) , Taghshinny Civil Parish, Barony of Shrule, Co. Longford 548 A, 3 R, 18 P (from townlands.ie). I hope this is helpful.

Thank you for your help. I suspect the priest who recorded the baptism meant to write Tennalick not Fenelick. This is the residence of my maternal great grandparents before the mother with two children immigrated to New York City U.S.A. in the 1850s. I presume the father died in Ireland before the immigration event. Patricia
