Patrick Mcgrail or Mgreal born Ireland 1831 in or around Westport possible parishes Oughaval or Tagheen.He married Mary maiden name unknown in [ give or take a couple of years] 1870.They are on the 1891 census in England living in Haslingden Lancashire.They had six children all born in Ireland in Westport ?.I am trying to get Marys maiden name and hopefully find out exactly were they are from in Ireland.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     I would like to thank Emma and Col for suggesting the Parishes.   • If you search Irish civil birth indexes 1845 ? 1858 on Familysearch for McGreal/McGrail, Westport 1870 ? 1885, you will get about 20 matches. One or two have unusual forenames eg Austin & Delia. If any tie in with the names and ages of the children on the English census, then you might want to order copies of the certs. Assuming you get the right ones, you should get Mary?s maiden name and the couples address at the time of the birth.

    There?s a marriage for Patt M?Greal registered in Westport 1871 Volume 4, page 784. However he doesn?t appear to have married a Mary (judging by Rootsireland) so possibly not the one you are interested in.
