Hi, my name is john hendy , ive been researching my family tree and found out my 4x great grandfather was from Moynalvey county meath, are there any Fitzsimmons still living around that area, thanks.

Moynalvy is a townland in the civil parish of Kilmore. Kilmore is just to the southeast of Laracor parish (see reply to your Malone message). The 1853 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Kilmore parish did not show any Fitzsimmons records.

The 1901 census for Moynalvy townland did list a Martin Fitzsimons family. See link.

By the 1911 census Martin had died but his wife and five sons were in Moynalvy.
