Hi, I am trying to search for my Foley relatives I know that James Foley abt 1818 and Rosanne Gallagher has several children and I have found lots of information on their family. I don’t have marriage records of James and Rosanne or birth records. I have matched dna with several people who have an Andrew Foley Born abt 1820 in Ireland. I believe Andrew and James are brothers since James Foley also had a son Andrew Foley Born in 1955. If anyone could help me confirm Andrew Foley and James Foley were brothers that would be extremely helpful. And if they had any other siblings. Also, James and Roseanne Foleys children Agnes Foley, Marie Foley, and Andrew Foley I am having trouble tracking down marriage, immigration, or death records. I know what happened to Thomas Foley, James Foley, and Patrick Foley. Thank you in advance!! Dawn Stanford

The Cloonclare RC baptismal records start in 1841 and marriages in 1850 so a marriage record and baptismal records for James and Rosanne would not be available. Also it would be difficult to link James and Andrew as brothers.
On the subscription site Roots Ireland, I can see five baptismal records for children of James Foley and Rosanne Gallagher: Agnes 1844 Patrick 1849 James 1850 Mary Grace 1853 Andrew 1855
I did not see James Foley in the 1857 Griffiths Valuation survey.
The free site www.irishgenealogy.ie has images of civil death records from 1878-1968. Index record are available from 1864-1877. I see a couple of James Foley possibilities.
Did the family stay in Ireland?
