Thank you for your reply. I did see a similar record for a George Alley at familysearch.org. This afternoon, I discovered that Gerald Alley of Ontario, Canada died in 1873 in Ontario and was buried there. In 1875, his eldest sister Isabella (no surname) inherited his farm land in Ontario and that in 1876, George Alley of Meath, Ireland held title to that land. Possibly Gerald's heir in County Meath was George Alley who died in there in 1880. Hopefully, that connection can be confirmed in Ireland. Gerald did not appear to have a family in Ontario.
