Betty:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I think the surname for Kitty was Gannon not McGinnon.
I located some civil records on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie I think originally the family was from Templeboy parish and moved to Skreen parish. I located the 1866 civil marriage record which lists the names of the fathers of James and Catherine. I then found the civil birth records from 1870-1880 for the five children. Possibly there were children born in the period 1867-1869 but there were too many records to review. The family was living in Farranyharpy townlnad when the youngest children were born. They were not in that townland in the 1901 census. Did the family emigrate?

Thank you so so much for this information. My brother-in-law is thrilled beyond belief. Our family plans to visit this area in August. There is a birth certificate for Catherine born in 1877 but she passed away as a toddler. In 1890 a second Catherine was born. This would be my brother-in-law's grandmother. I believe the family may emigrated to New York before the 1901 census. Would it be possible to find her birth certificate? Also is there a way to donate to Ireland Reaching Out? This website found my husband's family and we had a reunion with the American cousins and the Irish cousins in 2016. Until then neither knew each other existed.

Betty:
Thanks for your note. it appears the second Catherine was born in 1883 see sixth record on the page https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1883/02731/2004424.pdf
Here is the link to donate to IRO. Thanks!
