My gggrandparents were Patrick Glynn and Bridget Cosgrove of Quinaltagh. Patrick was born in 1844, the son of John Glynn and Mary possibly Ward. According to the records there was another family of Glynns living in Quinaltagh at the same time, Patrick and Bridget, possibly Reddington. Is there any way to find out if they were related?

Hi Rosme,
Very difficult to confirm, while Dunmore Church Marriage records start in 1833 they do not show parents names.
How much information have you on the families. Any possibility that the families intermarried. Later Church Marriage records may indicate if Dispensation was obtained and the degree of the relationship.
