I'm looking for any information about Headford House, Kells, Co. Meath. Especially the time before it became a school in 1949. My mother Margaret Farrelly worked there as a servant sometime in the 1940s I have no exact dates or any other information about her employment. Her family came from Ardmaghbreague which I believe to be the name of the townland.
Any information no matter how obscure connected with Headford House I would very much appriciate.

Hello Caslemore Roscommon:
Thank you for the links.
The Meath Archive has the school opening in 1959 (p15), while the Irish Times says 1949!
All the same some great information with some beautiful photographs.
Much appreciated.
