Hello,

I have a connection to Anthony Holt (1792-1852) who married Mary Grattan (1797-1895) and immigrated to Ontario Canada. Anthony's father, George Holt (1759-1824) was the son of John Holt (1720-1804). My family tree book was last updated in 1995, but it states that they all hailed from Coolavacoose, Carbury, County Kildare.  I am searching for information of the Holt family in Ireland, as well as information about Mary Grattan (and her ancestors), before they immigrated to Canada.

My name is Brian and my Grandmother was Mary Holt Schutte (1900-2000), grandaughter of Thomas Holt (1819-1902).  I'm also Canadian, living in Ottawa.  I just found my copy of the Holt Family Tree (1995) you mentioned above, did a search on Coolavacoose and found your posts.  Just wanted to say Hi to you both.
