Looking for information on the family of John Horgan died 16 Nov 1887, his wife Mary Thornhill Horgan born 1833,died 16 Dec 1915. Children included daughters Mary, Margaret, and Nellie, sons William and John. Margaret lived at Buttevant Lane and died 21 SEP 1957. Mary and Nellie both immigrated to the USA and lived in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland and found the marriage record in the Doneraile church records. Marriage date was February 2 1856. John's surname was transcribed as Horregan. The witnesses were Arthur Thornhill and Dan O'Brien.
The couple actually had nine children: Patrick 1856 Arthur 1858 John 1860 Mary 1862 James 1863 Mary 1866 William 1868 Ellen 1870 Margaret 1873 Likely some of the children died young.

Roger McDonnell, thanks for your response, I was unaware of Patrick, Arthur, and James. Mary Horgan was my great-grandmother. At the wedding I see that Artur Thornhill was witness he must have been a relative of Mary Thornhill. Really appreciate your help.
