My great-grandfather was from County Cork. I have had my DNA tested and recently I have had a few matches and Shared Matches that point me to Blarney. Can someone tell me what is the best way to search church records in the Blarney area? I don't know the parish name but I think I'll probably have to search through a few or more parishes to try to find what I'm looking for. I hope to find people with the same surname(s) as the DNA match(es) and my great-grandfather. Maybe I'm just an optimist but I'm going to try.

I would suggest a short-term subscription to Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie. This would be the most efficient way to look for records. You can also search for civil records for free on www.irishgenealogy.ie
