Hi
Wonder if anyone can help please. I know that i need to look on Familysearch.org for birth certifcates after 1920, but whenever i do, it doesn't link to any actual birth cerficate, mother's name/maiden name or father's.
It just comes p with, for example, John Darmody, aug/sep/oct 1924 - and that's it.
So i can't tell if this is who i am looking for ithout looking at the parents' names
Am i missing a trick or being really stupid? Also have Ancestry but that rarely brings up actual certicates either.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
jane

Jane,
Birth certificates within the past 100 years are not available to view free. You need to order (and pay) for a copy from GRO Roscommon. (Or GRONI if it’s Northern Ireland 1922 onwards).
