Ireland Visit

My name is Dennis Sutton from Florida, USA.  I will coming to Ireland on the August 23, 2019 for my first visit.

I have done extensive research on my Irish roots and now look to walk in the area of my ancestors. My great-grandfather, Patrick McDevitt was born in Shrove in 1859 to Daniel McDevitt and his second wife, Catherine Quinn.  Patrick emigrated to the U.S. in 1887 and married Elizabeth Gillespie abt 1892 in New York.  It is believe Elizabeth (b. 1872), the daughter of William Gillespie, might also have been from Donegal.  She emigrated in May 1892 so given they married about that time it suspected they might have known each other in Ireland.

I am looking to send a couple of days in Donegal and visit Shrove and the local area.

I would be most appreciative if someone might be offer some suggests of local places to visit.  Also if anyone might know of local McDevitt families still in the area who I might be able to connect with.
