I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and the earliest James Collins marriage to a Catherine in Co. Roscommon was in 1890 too late for your interests. I also looked for a Michael Collins baptismal record in Co. Roscommon with father James and mother Catherine and did not find a record. Let us know if you have additional family information.

Thanks Roger, it is possible that they were married in county galway. I think they might have had a don, john. I believe John was married to Ellen, identified in 1911 census living in Moorfield. Thanks again, Tom
